1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using IndianFoodFinder ("the Service", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

IndianFoodFinder is an online directory that helps users discover Indian restaurants, grocery stores, cloud kitchens, and fast-food businesses across the United States and Canada. IndianFoodFinder is a directory service only — we are not a restaurant, food delivery service, or food manufacturer. We do not prepare, sell, or deliver food. All transactions and interactions with listed businesses are solely between the user and the business.

3. Automated and Inferred Content

Some listing details — such as cuisine type, dietary options, descriptions and summaries— are automatically inferred and generated using AI from publicly available information. These are provided as a helpful starting point and are clearly marked as AI generated until a business owner claims and reviews them. You acknowledge that:

• Automatically generated details may not be fully accurate or up to date. We encourage you to verify information — especially dietary and allergen claims — directly with the business before making decisions based on it.
• While we continuously refine our automated systems to improve accuracy, the nature of automated content generation means results may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any automatically generated information.
• IndianFoodFinder is not liable for inaccuracies in automatically generated content. Use of this information is at your own risk.

4. Business Owner Responsibilities

If you are a business owner who has claimed a listing on IndianFoodFinder:

• When you update any field on your listing, you acknowledge that you have reviewed all information on that listing, including any automatically generated details. This signals to users that the listing has been verified by the owner.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your listing once you have updated it. This includes all dietary, allergen, and certification claims (e.g., Halal, Jain, Vegan, Gluten-Free).
• You agree not to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information. IndianFoodFinder reserves the right to remove or suspend listings that contain inaccurate or deceptive content.
• You represent that you are authorized to manage the listing on behalf of the business.

5. User Reviews

Reviews submitted by users reflect the personal opinions of those individuals and do not represent the views of IndianFoodFinder. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any review content. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our content standards (spam, harassment, hate speech, or defamatory content), but we are not obligated to do so. IndianFoodFinder is not liable for any harm resulting from review content.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service for any of the following purposes:

• Automated data collection: Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, spiders, or any other automated means to access, collect, copy, or extract data from IndianFoodFinder without prior written consent. This includes programmatic access to our APIs beyond normal user interaction.
• Data harvesting and redistribution: Systematically downloading, storing, or redistributing business listing data (including but not limited to names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, ratings, reviews, photos, and hours of operation) for any commercial or non-commercial purpose.
• Database replication: Creating or compiling, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database, or directory from our content without written permission.
• Circumventing protections: Bypassing or attempting to bypass any rate limiting, access controls, security measures, or other technological protections we employ.
• Competitive use: Using data obtained from IndianFoodFinder to build or enhance a competing product or service.

Violation of these provisions may result in immediate termination of your access, IP blocking, and legal action including claims for damages and injunctive relief.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INDIANFOODFINDER AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Sacramento County, California.
